Princess Madeleine of Sweden has revealed a new family member on her official Instagram account.

The Princess, who resides in Florida with her family, shared a photo of her family’s beloved dog, Teddy, who they have had for about two years.

In her post, Madeleine said: “I haven’t properly introduced you all to our newest family member, Teddy! Teddy is a true teddybear [sic] who gives us all lots of cuddles and love.”

Labradoodle Teddy was first seen in an Easter video with the Swedish Royal Family in the Spring of 2020.

He featured in the Swedish Royal Family’s video call for the holiday as the family celebrated digitally during the first year of the global health crisis.

Madeleine regularly posts on her Instagram account about her royal work and snaps of her children – from Halloween to birthday celebrations.

Princess Madeleine, her husband, Chris O’Neill and their three children, Princesses Leonore and Adrienne and Prince Nicolas, reside in Miami, Florida. They return to Sweden during the summer, some Christmas holidays and other important events.
