New photos of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar released in folk costumes from their duchies

The Swedish Royal Court has released new photos of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel’s two children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, ahead of National Day. The children are wearing the folk costumes of their respective duchies.

One photo features the family of four with Crown Princess Victoria wearing the folk costume from her duchy, as well. In total, three photos were released – two of Estelle and Oscar and one of the family. The images were taken at Logården at the Royal Palace this month.

Traditionally, the Crown Princess Family releases new photos on the morning of National Day (6 June) of Princess Estelle in the Swedish national dress with her younger brother. This has been a tradition since she was one.

It’s not known if the family will release images in the morning to follow this tradition, but it is seen as unlikely that they will break with tradition.
