Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden have concluded their trip to Denmark where they accompanied a Swedish business delegation and met up with close friends, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
The visit began on 16 September and ended on 18 September. The Crown Princess Couple were joined by Prime Minister Lena Hallengren in the Danish capital of Copenhagen.

Day one began at the Swedish Ambassador’s Residence where the royals and business delegation attended a reception before Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel called on Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary for dinner at their home at Amalienborg Palace.
The following day the Danish and Swedish royals visited the UN City with ministers of government and the Swedish delegation. There, the Crown Princess gave a speech, in English, on the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) where she said, “Ladies and gentlemen, 2030 is not far away. If we are delivering on the Sustainable Development Goals, we need companies that are not just adapting to change, but leading it. We need companies with the will and the skill to make a true difference. And we need closer co-operation between the UN system and private enterprise. (…) It is my sincere hope that this visit may be a starting point for new and productive partnerships for a better, more sustainable future! “

Later that day, they visited the Danish Industry Summit where this year’s theme is “Green Transition.” The Royal Court of Sweden explained, “The purpose is to discuss how companies, politicians and citizens can work together to achieve growth and sustainability to create a green future.”
In the evening, the HMS Nyköping was the setting where the Crown Prince Couple, Crown Princess Couple, Swedish delegation, Danish government ministers, and other guests attended a reception before the Swedish Ambassador hosted a dinner at their residence.

The trip concluded with Victoria, Daniel, Frederik and Mary attended a business forum at Dansk Industri’s head office before visiting the House of Green to see Danish innovative solutions for conservation and stability. They next travelled to Øksnehallen in Kødbyen for one of Scandinavia’s innovation conferences designed to support Nordic innovation.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary then visited Amage Bakke power plant while Crown Princess Mary and Prince Daniel spent time at Rigshospitalet to see the new children’s hospital scheduled to open in 2020.
