Queen Letizia of Spain has returned to Paris to once again cheer on Spanish athletes at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The Spanish queen has a jam-packed schedule to support as many Spanish teams at the Paris Olympics as possible.
Letizia kicked off her second stint at the 2024 games by watching the Spanish women’s water polo team take on Greece to finish out their preliminary round. The team won the match 10-8 and will be playing in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, 6 August. The Queen even took time to pose for photos with Spanish fans.
On Day 6, Queen Letizia was able to cheer on racewalkers Maria Perez and Álvaro Martín in their respective 20km walk finals. The Spanish royal family continues to be a good-luck charm, as Perez took home the Silver Medal for Spain while Martín snagged a Bronze Medal.
After catching the 20km finals, Letizia headed to the men’s water polo to see Spain take on Serbia. Spain won their match with a final score of 15-11 and will face Japan on Saturday, 3 August.
To continue on with her busy Thursday, Queen Letizia was able to see Carlos Alcaraz win his quarterfinal tennis match over American Tommy Paul.
