Queen Mary cuts summery figure for her visit to Versailles

Queen Mary of Denmark is back in Paris to cheer on more Danish athletes at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark arrived in Paris last week to attend the pre-Games Gala at the Louvre Museum and the Opening Ceremonies before cheering Danish athletes on. After heading back to Denmark, Mary is once again in Paris.

On Day 5, Mary attended the dressage team event at Versailles. She was joined by her friend, Danish designer Helle Trolle, throughout the day.

Danish rider Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour is competing in the dressage grand prix with her horse Freestyle on the Danish team and is one of Queen Mary’s friends.

The Queen was able to chat with Laudrup-Dufour after the competition on Wednesday and the trio even posed for pictures together.

Mary chose a very summery look for her visit to Versailles on Day 5 of the Paris Olympics. In addition to her pink and white striped sundress, she wore the ever-popular Hermes slides, pearl drop earrings, and carried a casual woven handbag to complete her look.
