Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and her children preside over AIDS charity gala

On Saturday, the Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo was the backdrop for a spectacular edition of the Fight AIDS Gala, an event presided by Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and her children.

Her Serene Highness is the President of Fight AIDS Monaco, an association that aims to spread awareness about the disease and help science find palliative and resolutive cures to the illness.

The Gala was centred around a disco club theme, mixed with a Tribute to ABBA band, who played covers by the hit Swedish band. The night was concluded by a fireworks display that lit up the night sky above the Principality.

Princess Stéphanie was wearing a red and white kimono from her daughter’s unisex clothing line, called Alter Designs, which was auctioned following the gala to raise funds for Fight AIDS Monaco.

The Princess was accompanied by all of her children; Louis Ducruet was accompanied by his wife, Marie Cavallier, with whom he just celebrated their second wedding anniversary. The couple got married in Monaco’s Our Lady Immaculate Cathedral on the 27th of July 2019.

Also present was Pauline Ducruet with her boyfriend, Maxime Giaccardi. The two have been a couple since at least 2015, with Giaccardi working in the real estate field and a past as a DJ and Pauline having launched her clothing line in 2017. The designer was wearing a dress from the 2020 collection of her line, which can still be found on the label’s website at a discounted price.

And finally, Camille Gottlieb, Princess Stéphanie’s youngest child, was also in Monte Carlo for the event and had the job of presenting 17 of the prizes for the night with host Marc Toesca.

The event also included a raft based on tickets purchased to win prizes. Several tickets were also sold for the online version of the event, something that Princess Stéphanie strongly wanted to allow participation also from people who couldn’t be in Monaco because of travel restrictions.

Together with the Princess Charlène Foundation, Fight AIDS Monaco will also benefit from the Princess of Monaco Golf Cup, the charity golf tournament that will take place on the 16th of September at the Monte Carlo Golf Club.
