Luxembourg’s Prince Gabriel announces birth of younger brother

Luxembourg’s Prince Gabriel of Nassau announced the birth of his younger brother on his mother, Tessy Antony de Nassau Floessel’s Instagram account on Thursday.

Theodor Frank was born on 26 August in Zürich’s Hirslanden. He is the third child for Tessy and the second for her husband, Frank Floessel.

Both mother and her son are doing well.

Gabriel said on Instagram: “Hi everyone. I am happy to announce that Noah, Julia [Frank’s daughter] and I have a little baby brother named Theodor, and he is doing well with my mother in the hospital. And they send you lots of love.”

Tessy wrote on the post, “Frank, our children and I are happy to announce that our little bean has arrived. Theodor is healthy and a very active little man. We are over the moon with joy.”

Tessy and Frank married earlier this year in Zürich, Switzerland in a small ceremony following health protocols. They plan to hold a larger celebration later when circumstances allow.

Gabriel, 15, is Tessy’s son from her marriage to Prince Louis of Luxembourg; he was the first grandchild for Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. He has one younger brother, Prince Noah, 13, from his mother’s first marriage.
