Queen Mary and Princess Josephine of Denmark embraced the hunt for their autumnally chic outfits at the Hubertus Hunt on Sunday, 3 November.
The Hubertus Hunt is an annual hunt held in the Deer Park at Klampenborg on the first Sunday of November each year. It marks the conclusion of the hunting season for the 160 riders who take part. The event remains popular with upwards of 40,000 spectators watching.
The winner of the hunt is given the Hubertus Chain.
Queen Mary wore a comfortable but elegant brown wool coat from Strenesse paired with a favourite quilted waistcoat that she has worn several times.
She also chose a more than appropriate accessory, the Ragnar R. Jørgensen Hunting Brooch. The brooch is made for the household cavalry and is a stag made in silver, gilded silver, and enamel.
The Danish queen finished her look off with a wide-brimmed hat.Â
Princess Josephine joined her mother for the hunt, as well. The thirteen year old wore a coat that has been in the family for over a decade. The Massimo Dutti reversible coat has both a plain navy and a checked side. Princess Josephine chose the check on Sunday.
While Queen Mary has worn the coat several times, Princess Isabella also wore the coat in 2019.
The teenage princess also wore a grey, casual knitted hat to keep the chill out.Â
