Princess Josephine to start new school

Princess Josephine of Denmark is set to enrol in a new school.

The Princess will begin Year 6 at Kildegård Privatskole when the new school year starts next week.

The 12-year-old “will begin at her new school in the coming week and looks forward to the further schooling,” according to the Danish Royal Court.

Josephine had been attending Tranegårdsskolen alongside her twin brother, Prince Vincent, since August 2017. Prince Vincent will remain at Tranegårdsskolen, which is close to his sister’s new school. The Royal Court did not reveal why Josephine is switching schools, but her brother is not.

Kildegård Privatskole is a private school in Gentofte Municipality.
