The Belgian Royal Palace has released images of Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant, at the annual summer military camp of the Royal Military Academy.
As part of her military training, the Princess will participate in the camp throughout July. She joined her classmates from the Royal Military Academy who are in their second year at the academy.
They are training at this camp to gain skills and knowledge in patrol techniques and leadership. The trainees’ resistance to stress and fatigue are severely tested during field exercises.
The Duchess of Brabant enrolled there in 2020, studying Social and Military Sciences. She concluded her military training in July 2021; Elisabeth then began studying at Oxford’s Lincoln College in the UK in the autumn of 2021.
It was just announced by the Royal Palace that her brother, Prince Gabriel, will begin training at the academy in August.
