Queen Rania of Jordan has shared a touching video on her Instagram as her daughter, Princess Iman’s wedding date was announced.
The Royal Hashemite Court revealed that Princess Iman would marry her fiancé, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, on 12 March.
No further details, including the venue, were announced.
After the unveiling of the wedding date, Queen Rania took to social media to share a touching video of her daughter, which included photos and videos of the Princess with her parents growing up. It ended with the first photo seen of Princess Iman in a tiara.
Her Majesty said: “The first time I held my baby girl, I knew my life would never be the same. In a week, she will be a bride. My precious Iman, I am so happy for you and so proud of everything that you are. Thank you to the very talented @elissazkh and to the brilliant @imarwankhoury for this wonderful gift and for your amazing ability to capture sentiments so beautifully.”
A new photo of Princess Iman and Mr Thermiotis was also shared in the collage, as was a video of Queen Rania looking at her daughter in what appears to be her trying on her wedding gown (which was not shown).
Princess Iman was seen in her mother’s Diamond Tiara at the end of the video. It’s the same tiara the Queen has worn in official portraits and on some state visits. It has not been said if the Princess will don the Diamond Tiara at her wedding.
