
Twas a few days ‘til Christmas and at Stockholm’s royal palace, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar have been cooking up festive foods.

The children of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were filmed as part of the Swedish Royal Family’s annual television programme, The Year with the Royal Family, which airs on SVT, the national broadcaster.
In a clip shared as part of a teaser trailer for the programme, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar are making food when Crown Princess Victoria joins them to see how they’re making out.
“I feel like the worst chef,” Prince Oscar says, delivering finished meatballs.
Princess Estelle, meanwhile, tells her mother about the batch of food she’s working on, “First I tasted it, it was good but it wasn’t ready.”
In a short video shared to the Swedish Royal Family’s Instagram account, after helping cook the food, the two send their Christmas wishes and pose with their dog, Rio.

Christmas is coming together for the Swedish Royal Family. Last week, Queen Silvia was joined by all of her grandchildren—Princess Estelle, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, Prince Oscar, Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel, Princess Adrienne, Prince Julian, and Princess Ines—to receive the Christmas tress at the Royal Palace.
It’s an annual tradition dating back to the 1960s, with students at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Umeå presenting the Christmas trees to the Royal Family.
