ICYMI: Norwegian royals share images from trip to Lofoten

Last week, the Norwegian Royal Family shared several images from their trip to Lofoten where they ended their summer holiday.

King Harald and Queen Sonja invited their son, Crown Prince Haakon; his wife, Crown Princess Mette-Marit; and their two children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus, to join them on the royal yacht for a family trip to end their summer trip around Norway. They also invited their daughter, Princess Märtha Louise and her three daughters, Maud, Leah and Emma, were also in attendance.

About the family holiday, Queen Sonja said on the Royal Family’s website: “The Royal Family has had a glorious and eventful week in Lofoten with the Royal Ship. We started in Ã… at the far end of Moskenesøya and ended in Raftsundet in Trollfjorden with sun all the way.”

The family spent time on the beach and went on mountain hikes to spend quality time together.

The King and Queen travelled on the royal yacht “Norge” over the summer while the Crown Prince Family spent their time in Sørlandet. The Crown Prince Family also did a photocall for the press during the summer while holidaying on the occasion of Crown Prince Haakon’s birthday on 20 July.
