The Duchess of York has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to her “dear, departed friend, Diana” on International Women’s Day.
Diana’s name and picture were included in a tweet praising inspirational women in Sarah’s life, including those who have passed away.
In full, the Duchess tweeted: “Thinking of some of the strong women who’ve been part of my life – my late mother, my dear, departed friends Diana and Carolyn Cotterell and my fierce, beautiful, loving daughters Beatrice and Eugenie who make me proud every day.”
The tweet was accompanied by a series of images featuring the Duchess alongside some of the women who have played a key role in her life.
