The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall unveil new website

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have unveiled their revamped website.

Their Royal Highnesses appear on the homepage together smiling brightly with the headline “Welcome
to the home of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.” A link to a video also appears below their photo that talks about The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts.

The site provides news, the royal diary, biographies of both the Prince and the Duchess and speeches they have given. Articles about their most recent engagements are easy to find as they are on the homepage.

Additionally, it provides links to all social media accounts of Clarence House and the official website of the Royal Family, as well as a media section for the press.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry were once on the old website with information about their events and biographies. However, they made the switch to the official Royal Family website around a year ago. Their information remained on the old Prince of Wales site, but it has now been removed.

They previously revamped their site back in 2012 which revealed a number of key facts. The facts included finances, income and household, as well as light-hearted details including whether or not Prince Charles has seven boiled eggs for breakfast. The latter was a claim made by Jeremy Paxman.

Whether or not Camilla would be known as queen was written about with the site saying then, “As was explained at the time of their wedding in April 2005, it is intended that The Duchess will be known as HRH The Princess Consort when The Prince of Wales accedes to The Throne.”
