Princess Charlotte is learning Spanish with her Nanny – Maria Turrion Borrallo

Princess Charlotte can apparently speak Spanish, according to a source who spoke to People magazine.

Now a source is speaking to People, revealing that Princess Charlotte is speaking some Spanish with Prince William and with her nanny, Maria Turrion Borrallo, who is from Spain.

The source further said that Princess Charlotte is “very sweet and very confident – she’s always chatting away.”

The source also revealed that Princess Charlotte is “so polite, but also fun and energetic. She has beautiful manners.”

Last year during a visit to Gloucestershire, the Duchess of Cambridge spoke to a little girl who speaks Spanish, telling her that Prince George can count in Spanish and that they were trying to teach Princess Charlotte.

“She said she is trying to teach Charlotte Spanish and said her son George can count up to 10 in Spanish already,” the little girl, Sayanna, told reporters.

Princess Charlotte has been in the news this week after her parents revealed that she had started at Willcocks Nursery School. The Duchess of Cambridge snapped a few photos of the tiny princess on the steps at Kensington Palace, and released them on Twitter.

The little princess is also adept at dance and tennis, with her mother telling the director of the English National Ballet that she’s been taking lessons and “absolutely loves to dance.”

Princess Charlotte started tennis lessons at the Hurlingham Club, with a source telling The Sun that “She might not be three until May but [the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge] were convinced she’d love it and so far, she has. She seems a bit of a natural.”

Princess Charlotte follows in her mother’s footsteps with her apparent love of tennis. The Duchess of Cambridge is an avid tennis fan, is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, and has regularly attended Wimbledon matches since before her marriage.
