Palace ‘insist Kate will give birth in Lindo Wing’

The BBC’s Peter Hunt reported today that Palace Officials are stressing that the original plan of the Royal Baby being born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s hospital still applies and that even though Kate is in Berkshire with the Middletons, she will still be taken to Paddington for the birth.

The Lindo Wing, where the eyes of the world will watch when the announcement is made that Kate has given birth.

This confirms what we thought before about reports that Kate could have her baby in a hospital near to the Middletons’ home.

We were told that Kate would give birth in the Lindo Wing a short while ago when St James’s Palace released what was termed the ‘final details about Kate’s pregnancy’.

Mid-July was a birth time taken from something Kate said on an engagement a while ago, the press release also said that  Dr. Marcus Setchell, The Queen’s former gynaecologist will be coming out of retirement to assist in delivering the baby along with Dr. Alan Farthing, The Queen’s current gynecologist and surgeon.

Expectation for the new royal baby arriving in the next few days is rife. Many of the anticipated due dates including the Daily Mail’s much-acclaimed prediction of 13th July have passed and some even think that the Duchess of Cambridge’s baby may be late, though it’s important to stress that no official due date was ever given.

London and many other places around the world have begun preparing to celebrate the future Monarch’s arrival and The Royal Mint plan to give away special pennies to babies born on the same day as the first child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The baby will be titled ‘His/Her Royal Highness Prince/Princess <NAME> of Cambridge’ from birth (not The Prince/Princess of Cambridge as previously reported).
