New photos released to celebrate Prince George’s sixth birthday

Look who is six! Kensington Palace has released three new photos, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, of Prince George ahead of his sixth birthday tomorrow.

Two of the images show Prince George in his favourite England football kit in the gardens of Kensington Palace. These pictures were taken just a few weeks ago, during the Women’s World Cup according to the Mail, while the third photo was taken while the family was recently on holiday.

The new pictures, showing a striking resemblance to mum Kate, reveal the future monarch has lost a couple of baby teeth as the permanent teeth can be seen starting to grow back in.

With the release of the new photographs, Kensington Palace said, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s sixth birthday.

“Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages!”

The Duchess of Cambridge is a keen photographer and has taken all of the birthday images of her three children in 2019.

Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born on 22 July 2013 in London’s St Mary’s Hospital’s famous Lindo Wing as the first child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

He now has two younger siblings: Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1.

The family recently travelled to Mustique for their annual holiday while Prince George and Princess Charlotte are on their summer break from school. Prince George currently attends London’s Thomas’s Battersea, and come this autumn, little sister Charlotte will join him.

This isn’t the first year Prince George has gotten to celebrate his birthday in the Caribbean as he turned five last year while on holiday, as well.

Happy Birthday, Prince George!!
