Princess Beatrice has offered an update on her mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, following treatment for cancer.
Speaking to ITV daytime show This Morning, Princess Beatrice revealed that her mother had received the “all clear” and is “doing really well”.
Sarah Ferguson was diagnosed with skin cancer in January – just six months after she was treated for breast cancer.
Following her diagnosis, the Duchess urged people not to put off checks or heath check ups.
Beatrice repeated this message on This Morning, saying: “We’re just reminded, when any parent or individual has a health scenario, just really get the checks that you need to get.”
She added: “My sister and I are so proud of her for taking the steps to get those checks.”
Sarah, Duchess of York, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. A few months later, it was discovered that she had skin cancer.
This was the first of many cancer scared The Royal Family have had to ensure over the last 12 months.
A short time later, both The King and the Princess of Wales also started treatment for an unspecified type of cancer.
