Those performing at Eugenie & Jack’s wedding are revealed

Buckingham Palace has revealed the names of those who will be performing at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding next week in Windsor.

Internationally renowned singer-songwriter Andrea Bocelli will be the star performer during the service.

The royal couple has asked the Italian singer to perform two pieces during the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel.

Also performing will be the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO), of which the Duke of York is Patron.

James Williams, Managing Director of RPO said: “It has been a great pleasure to work with HRH Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank to plan the music for their special day and we wish the couple much happiness for their future together.”

State Trumpeters from the Household Cavalry Band will perform a fanfare during the Service and Members of Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards of which Prince Andrew is Colonel, will line the West Steps of the Chapel as the couple depart.

The couple has also worked closely with James Vivian, Director of Music St George’s Chapel, who has written two new hymns that will be sung at the service.

Buckingham Palace has also revealed details about Eugenie and Jack’s wedding cake ahead of the ceremony.

London-based cake designer Sophie Cabot has been asked to bake the cake for the special occasion.

Miss Cabot was discovered by the couple through Prince Andrew’s Pitch@Palace scheme and was personally requested.

The cake will encompass a red velvet and chocolate cake, inspired by the rich colours of autumn.

Eugenie and Jack were engaged in Nicaragua while on holiday at the beginning of 2018. She and Mr Brooksbank met at the Swiss resort of Verbier where Eugenie was on a family vacation celebrating her father’s 50th birthday. Mr Brooksbank is now manager of Mahiki, a nightclub in Mayfair but before that, he worked at Chelsea’s Admiral Codrington pub, then the Markham Inn. In a past interview with the Daily Mail, he said that his future dream is to open a line of pubs.

Following in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Eugenie and Jack have invited 1,200 people from across the United Kingdom to the grounds of Windsor Castle to share the experience of their special day.

A palace spokesperson said: “The attendees will view the arrival of the congregation and Members of the Royal Family, listen to a live broadcast of the Marriage Service and watch as the Bride and Groom depart St George’s Chapel at the end of the ceremony.”

Once the service has ended, the newly married couple will undertake a short carriage procession through part of Windsor High Street.

The carriage will process through the grounds of Windsor Castle, departing via Castle Hill to proceed along part of the High Street before returning to the Castle via Cambridge Gate.
