The Prince of Wales meets the US President in Boston

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, has held a meeting with the Prince of Wales as the royal visit to Boston continued.

President Biden and Prince William greeted each other warmly outside the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum which the heir to the throne had been visiting.

”Spectacular setting,” the Prince said as he walked towards the President. The two shook hands and chatted happily before walking away for a private meeting.

The two have met several times before, most recently in September when the US President attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in London.

The Prince of Wales had visited the Presidential Library just hours before the Earthshot Prize ceremony. The awards, for projects aiming to protect the planet and work towards a sustainable future, were inspired by President John F. Kennedy’s Moonshot.

President Biden’s time in Boston also saw him take part in an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers phone bank.
