The first official photograph of the Princess of Wales has been released following her abdominal surgery earlier this year.
Kensington Palace released the image of the Princess alongside her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, to mark Mothering Sunday.
The photo, which was taken earlier in the week by Prince William, is accompanied by a caption here the princess thanks people their “continued support”.
Her Royal Highness said: “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months.
“Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day.”
The 42-year-old princess has not been seen in public since since Christmas Day in 2023.
On January 16, she was admitted to the London Clinic , where she remained for 13 days after undergoing major abdominal surgery.
She has been recovering at Windsor since her discharge, and is expected to return to public engagements after Easter.
