The couple’s romantic getaway comes just a month before they will
travel to New Zealand and then to Australia for a three-week
tour.
Kensington Palace has confirmed that William and Kate will be
joined by their son Prince George on the historic visit and it is
likely the future King will make a few appearances along the
way.
Ahead of the tour, the couple have been busy preparing while
carrying out royal duties and looking after Prince George.
Last month, Kate took a break from maternity leave to carry out a
series of engagements solo and one with the Queen. The Duchess
joined the monarch at Buckingham Palace for a reception to
celebrate the dramatic arts.
Prince William has also been continuing with 10-week agricultural
course at Cambridge University, and helping Kate with parental
duties.
Earlier this week, the Duchess of Cambridge
attended the leaving party of royal doctor Sir Marcus Setchell,
who had a farewell gathering at the Hyde Park Hilton.

I’m supportive of the Royal Family, but I find this trip to be tone deaf. Not a great move.
