The plane carrying The Queen back from Scotland for her Platinum Jubilee was reportedly caught in a lightening storm.
The Sun reported that as the Monarch returned from a short stay at Balmoral on May 31 2022 the pilot of her aircraft had to abort one landing after being caught in an electrical storm.
Buckingham Palace said ”The Queen’s flight was delayed due to a lightning storm, all the correct procedures were followed and there were no safety concerns.”
