Prince Harry becomes a godfather to Lena Tindall

The Duke of Sussex has become a godfather just a few weeks before he has a child of his own.

Zara and Mike Tindall asked Prince Harry to become godfather to Lena Tindall who was Christened this weekend in Gloucestershire.

Prince Harry accepted the honour and attended the small and private ceremony at St Nicholas Church alongside his wife, the Duchess of Sussex.

According to the Daily Mail, Princess Anne’s youngest grandchild was Christened with The Queen and the Princess Royal being in attendance.

Notable absences include the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the 97-year-old Duke of Edinburgh.

Lena was born on 18th June 2018 at the Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire.

She weighed 9lb 3oz making her the heaviest royal baby to be born in over 100 years. The previous record holder was Prince Louis of Cambridge who weighed 8lbs and 6oz when he was born in April.

Lena is the second child for Zara and Mike Tindall who are also parents to five-year-old Mia Tindall.

She is the seventh great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and 19th in line to the throne.
