Katherine McPhee reveals never before seen image of Duchess of Sussex

American actress and singer, Katherine McPhee has revealed a never before seen image of the Duchess of Sussex in her younger years.

In an image for Throwback Thursday on her Instagram account, Katherine McPhee posted a photo of Meghan and her with bright red lips when they were younger. The exact date of the picture is unknown, and it is also not known if the pair have remained in contact over the years.

She captioned it, “Meghan and I did musicals together as kids. She grew up to be the Duchess of Sussex and I grew up to star on the West End, so same life if you ask me. #TBT.”

The photo has garnered almost 55,000 likes.

Both Katherine McPhee, 34, and the Duchess of Sussex, 37, grew up in Los Angeles, California, with Meghan three years Katherine’s senior.

The Duchess and her old friend both had success in the entertainment industry. Of course, Meghan starred for several seasons in the USA Network’s Suits (which catapulted her to fame) and appeared in several other television shows and movies. Of course, she retired from acting after becoming engaged to Prince Harry in late 2017. Her last episodes of Suits aired just a few weeks before her 19 May 2018 wedding at St George’s Chapel.

Katherine McPhee became well-known after coming in runner up on American Idol season five and has since appeared on television and in movies. She has also released several albums and was on Broadway.

McPhee is currently in London to appear in the West End production, Waitress, as the lead female role of Jenna. She previously appeared as Jenna on Broadway in the same musical.

Will the Duchess and Katherine McPhee reunited while the latter is in London? It remains to be seen.
