Harry & Meghan to take a six-week break from royal duties

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to take a six-week break from royal duties, starting next month.

According to The Sunday Times, Harry & Meghan are planning to have some “family time” alone with Archie.

The Sussex family will split their time during their royal hiatus in both the UK and US, with Archie expected to spend his first Thanksgiving in Los Angeles with his grandmother, Doria Ragland.

Speaking to The Times, a royal source said: “The Duke and Duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much needed family time.”

It is expected they will be back in the UK for Christmas to spend time with The Queen at Sandringham.

It is likely that whilst in America, Prince Harry will be working on his upcoming documentary alongside TV personalty Oprah Winfrey.

The documentary focuses on mental health and will be released next year on Apple’s online streaming service.
