Tabloids around the world are reporting on the latest twist in the saga surrounding the Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with her father, and now a European royal has stepped in to offer words of support to the Duchess.
Tessy Antony, Princess of Luxembourg, took to Twitter on Sunday evening in response to an editorial published on Royal Central earlier in the day defending Meghan from recent events.
The Princess, who currently resides in London, said: “No one deserves that. One should never assume. Either you know or be quiet.
“It’s not nice to talk badly about someone else just because one can, as he or she takes advantage of the anonymity of the web. Stay Kind!!! It’s the new cool! She does not deserve that.”

Princess Tessy is referring to anonymous accounts on social media which have been abusive towards the Duchess.
Her intervention comes on the day Thomas Markle released a private letter his daughter penned to him last year.
In line with Royal Central’s editorial policy, the content of the letter will not be published out of respect for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
