The Queen is back on duty as she holds telephone meeting with Prime Minister

The Queen has held a telephone meeting with the Prime Minister as she recovers from Covid.

Her Majesty spoke by phone with Boris Johnson from Windsor Castle where she continues to recuperate.

The call took place on February 23rd 2022. The day before, The Queen had cancelled her planned video engagements as she continued to experience mild Covid symptoms.

The Queen usually speaks to her Prime Minister weekly and the subject of their conversations remain confidential.

Her Majesty tested positive for coronavirus on February 20th 2022.
