First details revealed on how to apply for Platinum Party at the Palace tickets

The ballot for tickets for the Platinum Party at the Palace will open on February 24th 2022. The concert takes place outside the famous royal residence on June 4th 2022.

The event is open to UK residents only. The ballot will stay open for one month and the draw will take place after the closing date.

Entries can be made at the special website – www.bbc.co.uk/platinumjubileeconcert.

There are a total of 10,000 tickets available. Applicants can apply for a maximum of two tickets each. Anyone applying must be over the age of 18. They can bring a guest aged 11 or more with them.

Every entry has an equal chance of winning, no matter when it is submitted.

The special concert will take place outside Buckingham Palace. It will be staged by the BBC and shown on BBC One live on June 4th. The first big name on the line up has also been revealed. George Ezra will be one of the top acts performing at the concert.

The Platinum Party at the Palace is part of the special weekend of celebrations marking the Platinum Jubilee. The Queen became the only British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee on February 6th 2022 when her reign reached 70 years.
