There were celebrations in Windsor Castle on Wednesday after The Queen’s horse won in spectacular style at Royal Ascot.
Tactical, owned by Her Majesty The Queen, started the race as favourite, and arrived back at the Winner’s Enclosure to fanfare.
This was the monarch’s first win at Royal Ascot for four years.
Andrew Balding trained the two-year-old horse, with James Doyle on board.
After the race, Mr Doyle said: “To ride Her Majesty a royal winner here; it’s what dreams are made of.”

There is, however, sadness on Her Majesty’s part that she could not be at Ascot Racecourse in person to celebrate her victory.
Tactical wasn’t the only one of Her Majesty’s horses to run on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, First Receiver was narrowly beaten into second place by Russian Emperor at the finishing line.
