Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have released four new photos marking their wedding yesterday, including a photo taken shortly before their evening reception Friday night at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Princess Eugenie is wearing a striking blush pink evening gown designed by Zac Posen, meant to evoke the colour of an English rose. Per the Buckingham Palace release, Posen was inspired by “the beauty of Windsor and the surrounding countryside.”
Further inspiration was found in the White Rose of York, which is subtly embroidered on the shoulders and back of the gown.
The gown is pin-tucked plissé cut on the bias, with signature drapes. The aforementioned White Rose of York embroidery holds a cape together.
Princess Eugenie’s jewellery includes diamond and emerald drop earrings gifted to her for the wedding by Jack; and a hair slide that was lent to her by the Queen.
Queen Victoria’s Wheat-Ear Brooches were commissioned in 1830 by William IV for his wife, Adelaide, and inherited by Queen Victoria upon her accession to the throne in 1837. They have passed through the Royal Family since then, and are currently possessed by the Queen.
Buckingham Palace notes that the Queen has worn them both as hair slides and brooches.
