Prince Harry to travel back to UK as King Charles begins cancer treatment

The Duke of Sussex will return to the UK to see King Charles who is now being treated for cancer.

The King announced that he has been diagnosed with a form of cancer and, soon afterwards, his younger son confirmed he will head back to London to spend time with his father.

Buckingham Palace hasn’t revealed what form of the illness His Majesty has. However, he will stop all public facing engagements while he undergoes initial treatment. He will continue to carry out constitutional duties.

It is understood that The King informed both his sons of his cancer treatment ahead of Buckingham Palace announcing the diagnosis. All his siblings were also informed.

The King’s cancer was found as he underwent treatment for an enlarged prostate. That was benign but other investigations were carried out over a matter of ”concern” and that led to His Majesty’s diagnosis.
