Mike Tindall is hiring – here’s how you can apply

Zara Mike Tindall

Mike Tindall is on the hunt for fresh talent to join the growing team behind his successful podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby.

Launched in 2020, the podcast – co-hosted by Tindall alongside former teammates James Haskell and broadcaster Alex Payne – has become a fixture in the UK’s sporting media landscape, with millions of downloads and a loyal following. Blending behind-the-scenes insight from the world of professional rugby with humour, camaraderie, and the occasional royal anecdote, the show has garnered acclaim well beyond its core fanbase.

Now, with plans to expand the podcast’s reach and output, Tindall and his team are advertising two new roles: a Social Media & Content Executive, and a Videographer & Editor.

The position, advertised on LinkedIn, is based in southwest London and offer successful applicants the chance to work closely with one of the most recognisable trios in British sport media. According to the job descriptions, the roles will focus on developing “innovative social media strategies”, particularly across TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

Applicants are expected to have a strong grasp of visual storytelling, video editing, and social media strategy – along with a keen understanding of the tone and style that has made The Good, The Bad & The Rugby a standout success. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is listed as essential, and candidates must be “performance driven”.

The successful candidate can expect to earn between £42,000-£52,000 per year.

The podcast has grown rapidly in recent years, with live tours, special episodes with high-profile guests – including, memorably, Princess Anne – and even a spin-off series focused on women’s rugby.
