The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visit Northern Ireland

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Northern Ireland on Wednesday morning to undertake a series of engagements.

Charles and Camilla will start the day by thanking nurses and midwives who completed their training early in respond to the global health emergency.

Their Royal Highnesses will hear from those in the tourism and culture sector as the industry begins to reopen.

The couple will throw their support behind the sector as it looks towards recovery in the coming months and years ahead.

Prince Charles will later in the day visit a food and grocery distributor in recognition of their efforts during the pandemic and the unprecedented demand they faced.

Meanwhile, Camilla, as a long-standing supporter of domestic abuse charities in the UK and overseas, will visit a not-for-profit organisation that supports those affected by domestic violence.

Royal Central will bring you full coverage of the royal visit to Northern Ireland throughout the day.
