Known for his love of art, The King fittingly was able to see a new POSK art exhibition featuring some of the works of Felix Fabian, a Polish artist.

His Majesty also attended a reception at the centre where he met different Polish community members. In addition to meeting two Polish veterans of the Second World War, he spent time chatting with Polish folk-dancers, traditional crafters, and other members of the community.
POSK was first established in 1964 by Polish exiles as a way to rebuild their community and share their culture. The centre now includes a library, a theatre, a restaurant, an art gallery, and several community meeting spaces. It is open to anyone of any nationality and hosts several events open to the public.
