King Charles just spoke three words that will become one of his most famous moments

King Charles asks where's the umbrella

King Charles is making headlines around the world for saying just three words.

As The King was watching a parade to mark Independence Day in Antigua and Barbuda, he was caught in a torrential downpour.

Queen Camilla, who was at The King’s side, was quickly handed an umbrella and no sooner had it over her head than she decided to leave the dais where she had been standing with her husband.

As The Queen walked away and the rain got heavier, King Charles turned round and said three words ”Where’s the umbrella?”

He looked far from happy at the situation which developed rapidly.

The rain started to come down as King Charles and Queen Camilla watched the parade. However, it picked up pace quickly and within moments both were looking around for shelter.

A clear umbrella with a black trim was suddenly produced and handed to Queen Camilla who accepted it willingly.

However, as the downpour intensified, she decided to head inside as soon as she could and walked away with an official at her side.

Looking exasperated, The King then turned round and raised his hands in the air. He could clearly be seen saying ”where’s the umbrella?”

Moments later, King Charles began to walk away from the dais with three members of the military at his side. He changed his mind and returned to his place seconds later.

The King then watched the parade with rain clearly sheeting down in front of him.

A little while later, an umbrella was produced and he used it as he inspected a Guard of Honour.

The incident was laughed off later by King Charles who told his hosts that his trousers were now so rain splattered that they were growing watercress.

Queen Camilla was soon reunited with her husband and the two of them continued their involvement with events marking Independence Day.

After the heavy rain and humidity, Queen Camilla’s hair took on a frizz and she looked somewhat more fluffy throughout the rest of the day.

The incident, which has seen some sympathising with The King and others criticising him, has made headlines around the world.

All monarchs have sayings that become part of their eternal story. King Charles just added ”where’s the umbrella” to his famous sayings.
