King Charles: I am so proud of Catherine

The King has spoken of his pride in his daughter in law after she revealed that she is being treated for cancer.

His Majesty said he was ‘so proud of Catherine for her courage in speaking as she did’’.

The Princess of Wales released a video message on March 22nd 2024 in which she revealed that tests following her major abdominal surgery had indicated the presence of cancer and she was now undergoing ‘preventative chemotherapy’.

A spokesperson for The King said afterwards that His Majesty had ”remained in the closest contact with his beloved daughter-in-law throughout the past weeks.”

The King and Queen will ”continue to offer their love and support to the whole family through this difficult time”.

The King is currently undergoing treatment for cancer as well.
