King Charles being treated in same hospital as the Princess of Wales

The King will undergo planned treatment in the same hospital where his daughter in law, the Princess of Wales, is recuperating following major surgery.

The Princess has been in the London Clinic since January 16th when she underwent abdominal surgery.

His Majesty was admitted to the same hospital on the morning of January 26th 2024 for treatment for an enlarged prostate.

It is understood King Charles visited Catherine soon after arriving at the clinic.

Queen Camilla was with His Majesty as he arrived for his treatment.

The Princess of Wales has been in the clinic for over a week and may stay there for another few days following a major operation.

Kensington Palace has announced that Her Royal Highness will need at least another two months recuperation once she returns home from hopsital.

On the same day that Catherine’s surgery was announced, Buckingham Palace issued a statement saying that The King needed hospital treatment for an enlarged prostate.

King Charles hoped that by sharing his diagnosis, he would encourage others to seek treatment for a condition that is often overlooked. Since then, enquiries have increased dramatically.
