It’s a big part of their diary every year and 2019 proved no different. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall headed to the south west of England for three days of engagements in July and seemed to relish every second of it.

Charles and Camilla visited Cornwall and Devon in the middle of the month, packing in a trio of engagements every day as big crowds of wellwishers turned out to see them. They heard about local business and environmental projects as well as showing their support for animal welfare charities and regional crafts. And there was a lot of cake as the Duchess of Cornwall turned 72 during her stay.

Enjoy the photos above which tell the story of Charles and Camilla’s South West Week for 2019.
