Queen Camilla wowed the crowd at Buckingham Palace for the first garden party as Queen.
The Queen wore a familiar yet striking royal blue and white outfit by Bruce Oldfield. She completed the look with a blue Philip Treacy hat, black gloves and complimentary blue heels.
For her jewellery, Queen Camilla wore a favourite four-strand pearl necklace with a round diamond clasp and sapphire, diamond, ruby and pearl earrings.
The royal blue and white block dress is a favourite of Her Majesty’s.
She was last seen wearing it when she accompanied King Charles III to last year’s Maundy Thursday service, when he was standing in for the then Queen Elizabeth II.
The cut and colour of the dress highlights the silhouette of the Queen while creating a structured appearance. Her matching angled hat has a white hatband that ties the ensemble together.
The King hosted the first Garden Party of his reign on May 3 – just days ahead of his Coronation.
Held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, His Majesty invited a number of guests to join him and Queen Camilla for tea and refreshments in the spring sunshine.
Also present was the Duke & Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke & Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.
