<![CDATA[The Duchess of Cambridge has been hailed as a "wonderful" influence on British fashion by designer Emilia Wickstead.
New Zealand-born Emilia explained she believes Kate is a credit to the British fashion industry and is a great role model for young girls.
"I think she is influencing fashion in that way so that young girls in Britain or around the world can look up to her," she told CNN’s Max Foster.
“I think it is wonderful what she does for fashion, particularly British fashion,” the coveted designer added.
Kate, 32, has been spotted in Emilia’s dresses and the designer is already a favourite for the Duchess to wear when she heads down under this Spring.
In April, the Duchess will travel to Australia with the Duke of Cambridge and Prince George, where it is anticipated Kate may wear up to four outfits a day.
According to recent reports, Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley, already championed by Kate, are creating bespoke regal gowns for the royal to wear.
This week, the Duchess will make her return to royal duties as she undertakes her first engagement of the year.
Kate, who recently enjoyed a Caribbean holiday with her parents, will attend two solo engagements before joining The Queen at a reception at Buckingham Palace.
