The Cambridges in Pakistan: Day Three Diary

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s latest stops on their visit to Pakistan will see them experience some of the most diverse aspects of the environment in the country they currently call home. Mountains and glaciers are all on the itinerary although we’ll have to wait and see whether we get another style stealing moment from William as the tour continues. Here’s a quick look at the day three diary of the Cambridges in Pakistan.

The Natural World

The couple will head into the Hindu Kush Mountain Range as day three of their visit gets under way. They will stop in Chitral in northern Pakistan – an area of the country also visited by William’s mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

Their diary also includes a visit to a glacier to hear about the impact of climate change on the natural environment of the region. Then they will see the impact on the people of the area as they spend time in villages affected by flooding.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also see the work of search and rescue teams in the area.

As the day continues, William and Kate will visit a traditional Kalash settlement.

And you can follow the latest details of the tour on Royal Central as well as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram sites.
