While Prince George sat by his papa, Charlotte sat by their mother, and the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted explaining the football match to her four-year-old daughter.
In one video shared across social media, Prince George was jumping for joy and clapping during the game, and the Duke of Cambridge had to settle him down. Both Catherine and William were seen giggling at their son’s excitement when his team scored.
Prince William is an avid Aston Villa fan, and he has clearly passed that love on to his son. William also serves as the President of the Football Association (FA).

Aston Villa later tweeted about the Cambridges attending the game saying, “You know how to pick your #AVFC games, Your Royal Highness.”
Prince George is known to love the sport and was pictured in an England soccer jersey in his sixth birthday snaps taken by his mother. Reportedly, his birthday party even featured football with fellow students from Thomas Battersea in attendance.
George and Charlotte were also seen kicking around the football during the summer at a polo match their father was playing in with their uncle, Prince Harry.
