Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg has become the Chief Scout, taking over for his late grandfather, Grand Duke Jean who died earlier this year at the age of 98. Grand Duke Jean had been Chief Scout for 74 years.
At the event, Guillaume was accompanied by his wife, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie. However, they were not the only royals in attendance as King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden also appeared at the World Scout Foundation Board Meeting and 73rd Baden-Powell Fellowship dinner.
