It was the first public engagement for the Princess of Wales outside of royal residences since she completed chemotherapy in early autumn.

William and Catherine had private meetings with the families the three young girls who died. The children were attending a Taylor Swift theme dance class when they were attacked. The Prince and Princess also met one of the class teachers who was injured during their visit.
