Royals out in force for one of racing’s most stylish days

The Queen was at the Cheltenham Festival for one of its most important days.

Her Majesty attended the races on Style Wednesday, one of the highlights of the annual meet.

Queen Camilla chose an emerald green coat for the occasion, over a brown skirt and print blouse. The ensemble was designed by Anna Valentine. She accessorised with a favourite brooch, appropriately in the shape of a horseshoe.

The big race of the day was the Queen Mother Champion Chase which was won by Captain Guinness, ridden by Rachael Blackmore and trained by Henry de Bromheaed. Her Majesty presented the prizes following that race.

The Princess Royal joined The Queen at the festival for Style Wednesday which was previously known as Ladies Day.

Zara Tindall took the royal style prize for the day, choosing a sharp, pinstripe trouser suit with pillbox style hat while husband, Mike, who always likes to match also chose navy and added a cap.

Princess Eugenie, in white, was seen hugging her cousin at one point as the two enjoyed their day at the races. Eugenie was joined by her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
