King Charles is discharged from hospital

The King has left hospital after a three night stay following a planned procedure for an enlarged prostate.

His Majesty waved and smiled as he walked out of the London Clinic on the afternoon of January 29th 2024.

Queen Camilla was at his side.

King Charles was admitted to hospital on January 26th for a routine procedure for an enlarged prostate. He shared details of his diagnosis to encourage others to seek treatment for a sometimes overlooked condition.

Buckingham Palace has said His Majesty will continue to recuperate and won’t undertake any engagements in the immediate future as he recovers.

The King thanked the medical teams who have been treating him and also expressed his gratitude for the well wishes sent to him from people around the world.
