Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan share first glimpse of brand new royal baby

Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan have welcomed their first child.

Princess Rajwa gave birth to a daughter on the morning of August 3rd 2024 with the Royal Hashemite Court announcing the news soon afterwards.

And the proud parents didn’t keep people waiting long for their first glimpse of their little girl.

Shortly after her arrival, the royals shared a video of her in her father’s arms.

Crown Prince Hussein was seen cradling his daughter as he pronounced the adhan, the call to prayer, in her ear.

The Crown Prince and Princess Rajwa have named their daughter Iman.

The baby girl is a first grandchild for King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan.

In a statement, the Royal Hashemite Court said it ”extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to Their Royal Highnesses and to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this happy occasion.”

The new family have asked for donations to charity instead of gifts with Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa suggesting the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans for donations.

It’s not yet been confirmed whether baby Iman will have a title. At the moment, she isn’t in line for the throne of Jordan as succession is male only.

Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa married in June 2023.
