The Crown Princess of Sweden pays tribute to those working over Christmas with special visit

The Crown Princess of Sweden has thanked all those working over Christmas as she made a special visit as the festive period got fully under way.

Crown Princess Victoria went to the Swedish Customs station in Värtahamnen in Stockholm on Christmas Eve to see the work going on and to wish them and all those on duty across Sweden a very happy Christmas.

Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar joined the heir to the throne for the visit.

They were all given an overview of some of the ongoing duties that staff will carry out over Christmas.

Prince Oscar was particularly excited to meet one of the dogs working at the customs station. His big sister, Princess Estelle, chatted happily with some of the officers on duty.

The whole family then joined staff for coffee and cakes.
